Rereading a book first visited at school. A beautifully written tale of adventures, survival and friendship. Michael Morpurgo is one of my favourite authors and Iām enjoying revisiting his books as an adult. The story is told through the eyes of Michael, who keeps you engaged as he tells his tales from his round the world trip on the Peggy Sue with his family to his discovery of Kensuke and his kingdom. Well worth a read.
