3 // This was a decently written piece of literary fiction following the perspectives of three Muslim women on a road trip to a historical site.

Basically this was the better (though obviously fictional) version of Lisa Tadeo’s Three Women.

At times it veered a bit to close to magical realism for my taste, but if you are in search for an introspective read that details individual transformative experiences in the lives of three run in the mill women with a touch of magical realism, this just might be for you.

I read this as a part of a little "challenge" I’ve set to read the stack of books my local librarian recommended to me.
