The author tackle powerful and painful themes that can resonate with all of us. Losing someone you love and knowing how to say goodbye is never easy. Each person overcomes grief in their own way. Some people get through it easier than others but we know that no matter what we do we will never forget this person dear to us who is simply irreplaceable.

I didn't quite like the characters; I found Marley to be naive at times, and Hunter frustrated me when he slept with someone else, even though they weren't officially a couple yet. I didn't need to know all the details.

I appreciate that the story draws inspiration from real-life events and addresses sensitive subjects. It is well-written in that regard. However, I regret to say that I couldn't form a strong attachment to the characters or find myself truly captivated by the narrative. In my opinion, their story lacks the depth and emotional resonance that would have made it more engaging.
