A dark and increasingly sinister tale that reminds me of a modern-day twist on Gothic horror. It is tightly plotted, with plenty of twists and turns until the final page. It is not for all readers as there is content that some may find triggering. However, it kept my attention on a 13-hour flight so for that reason alone, I'm giving it 4 stars.
