I love the hunger games! I’ve only ever watched the movies and I’m so excited to learn the true details and thoughts through the books! I was truly amazed by the brilliant writing and how I was kept entertained for hours on end! I could not put this book down until I was finished! This is a must read!

There is definitely violence. It is war. In the hunger games the goal is to kill all 23 tributes until you're the last one standing. The alternative is death. As a result you witness a lot of that while reading this book. You can either kill or be killed. They are set in bloody times and you might wince at an injury description, but the books really are works of art!
