I don't even know how to rate this book. I wish I could un-read it. It's literally about a pedophile, and it's not even written that well, AND are we supposed to hate the victim-blaming mom, but love the pedophile son because he feels bad?! Like what? Honestly, what is the point of this book? What was the reason for it?
This book comes up a lot on "books that made me sob" lists, and I love a book that destroys me so I picked it up not knowing what it was about but man - this just ain't it. I cannot in good conscience recommend this book to anyone, ever.
