Erased, Volume 1
by Kei Sanbe
What if you had the ability to back in time, but for only a few minutes? One man who’s a failing manga artist has this power, and he uses it to fix minor inconveniences. But soon he finds his mother murdered and used his full power to accidentally go back to 1988 when he was a child. There was another murder that happened that could be connected. Despite being physically a child, Satoru will do anything to save his mom 18 years in advance and maybe fix other problems in his youth.
This is a pretty popular anime that I overlooked and this book has a slow build, but kept my interest as we have a great murder mystery from two time periods that are somehow connected. And it’s a nice character study on someone who has an antisocial life taking the chance to be better by reliving his life. Extremely fascinating stuff here!
