Angus, tange i ljubljenje s vatanjem
by Louise Rennison
This is the first in a many-book series re: Georgia Nicolson and her wild teenage adventures. I have to admit, I love this series. I do.
Firstly, it's hilarious. It just is. Yes, Georgia whines a good bit and often carries on about this and that with very little regard for the feelings of others. But come on, we all did when we were fourteen and in love and hormones and confusion and all that good/horrid stuff.
You have to be able to lower yourself down to the level of a teenager to enjoy this series -- a shallow, insecure, fumbling teenager, that is. And I swear, you either are one or you used to be one. And frankly, who doesn't need a bit more laughter and angst in their lives?
Read them. All of them. You must start with this one or else nothing will make a shred of sense. But for a light read that will do nothing but annoy you and brighten your day, this is a solid go-to.
Also my sister and I can quote these books. All of them. So...bear that in mind.
