The Anatomist's Wife by Anna Lee Huber

3.0

A very enjoyable read!

It was a bit predictable and there were a couple moments where I was exasperated that the characters didn't make certain connections or look at things a different way but it was still a good mystery.

I loved the individual characterization of everyone and the subtle romance was a nice touch that I became very invested in. It's a little graphic in terms of gore (which is to be expected given the premise of the story) and I usually can't stomach that sort of thing but I managed to get through it without feeling gross. I can't wait to read the second book!
