As a debut novel, it's engaging and shows that Scwab has been a great story teller right from the start. The characters need a lot more work though. I especially dislike the romance in this one. It's wholly unnecessary for me and would've been way better if it's left to the end. It just happens so fast and too unbelievable for a story that took place in a span of 7 days, 6 if you count from their first meeting. It just took a lot out of the characterization from Lexi in my opinion.
