Kiss A Villain by Mia Darling

This was so so good! I loved it, despite I hate mafia trope, graphic violence, dark romance and, above all, cliffhanger. But I'm so glad I read it because it's a fantastic story.

Yarik and Kirill are doomed from the start, there's should be no way for them to develop a friendship, let alone a relationship. And yet they're close, they develop a bond and, even if they spent years being separated and that bond gets thinner, they're still in each other's heart.
Their dynamic is very complex because Yarik's father is an evil puppeteer who play with people's lives and they have no chance to escape his manipulations and they're barely able to stay alive and to not get lost in all that darkness and desperation.

I adored the structure of this book: the chapters, the texts, the letters, all of them made the reading very pleasant.

I crave the second book because these two young men deserve more than anyone to be happy and free. I hope it will come out soon.
(I also hope you die a slow death, Petr...)

Highly recommended.
