Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy by Sarah Ban Breathnach

5.0

Okay, while I admit I haven't read every essay in this collection, I've flipped through and enjoyed many of these passages throughout the year. This is good stuff, and it will give you a lot to think about. Much like a daily devotional (but without the overt religious content), there is a short, introspective essay for each day of the year, with overarching themes for each month. Each encourages the reader to see the joy in the ordinary. I love it and frequently refer back when I'm craving an inspirational word or a reminder to be grateful for my 'simple abundance.'
