The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James

5.0

This is my 3rd book by Simone St. James and my absolute favorite of all of them ( I have yet read her other books so my opinion still might change).

Between my extreme Horror reading binges I tend to read easier stuff and lately I gravitate towards ghost and/or crime mystery books. Simone St. James combines both successfully in one book. Ghost and a mystery/crime to solve? Let's turn it into a book! And she does it so well! And I am loving it!

Shea Collins runs a true-crime website named The Book of Cold Cases as a side gig. When she was a little girl she survived an abduction and since then she dedicates all of her free time to unsolved murder cases. One of them is the Case of The Lady Killer Murders. These murders happened in the 1970s in her home town of Clare Lake in Oregon. Beth Greer was a suspect but was acquitted. One day Beth walks into the doctors office where Shea works. Shea cannot believe her luck. She asks if Beth is interested in an interview with her and Beth agrees. And suddenly Shea will find herself in a story that will change her life.
