This was chosen purely to complete a prompt for this years reading challenges. I love a strong female lead and even better if it is nonfiction or based on facts. This author pulled facts surrounding the golden age of pirates and intertwined Sarah Kidd’s life. I wish there was more content about her but I understand documentary on females at that time was limited. This was an interesting read, full of historical fact, love and survival. 3.5 ⭐️
