Ce livre ... J'ai dévoré ce livre d'une seule traite ><
Un seul mot : Nesta ! Je l'avais HAÏE dans les livres précédents mais je savais qu'elle avait le potentiel pour être tellement géniale mais elle a dépassé toutes mes attentes !! J'ai pleuré, j'ai ri et j'ai vibré à chaque étape de son évolution, de tout ce qu'elle a du endurer pour arriver à vivre et non plus survivre ... Et j'en ai adoré chaque seconde !!
Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé :
- NESTA NESTA NESTA ! Pour moi c'est vraiment un personnage qui m'a enchantée ! Contrairement aux tomes avec Feyre où l'intrigue concernait vraiment Feyre et Rhysand, ici même s'il y a de la romance, Nesta reste le personnage qui porte tout le livre ! Elle est tour à tour furieuse, puissante (cette vision dans la prison avec le méchant mais aussi la scène dans le marais flippant <3), cruelle, brisée (cette scène quand elle marche dans les montagnes avec Cassian ... ><) mais surtout terriblement humaine (dans ses peurs, ses doutes ...) malgré son inhumanité ! J'ai détesté les autres personnages pour tout ce qui lui faisait subir, volontairement ou non, parce que Nesta avait vécu tellement d'horribles choses et elle était si seule (et c'est peut-être une des grandes différences avec Feyre qui a vécu des événements traumatisants ... Mais qui avait Rhys et aussi les autres et surtout elle était suffisamment équilibrée au départ pour savoir comment demander de l'aide alors que Nesta ...) J'ai compris qu'ils ne savaient pas quoi faire pour l'aider et qu'ils ont souvent pris des mauvaises décisions mais le début du livre m'a quand même tuée ><
- les multiples intrigues !! Beaucoup de nouvelles informations (l'histoire avec le High King, le passé de l'univers avec les mystères entourant les différents lieux, the Mother, le Dread Trove ...), de nouvelles intrigues (les différentes factions qui vont forcément s'affronter, les nouvelles alliances, les enjeux autour des objets de pouvoir etc etc), de nouveaux ennemis (j'ai HÂTE même si j'avoue avoir été perturbé par l'apparition de Koschei qui est un méchant que j'adore ... Mais qui est "existe" réellement dans le folklore russe du coup c'était étrange de le voir apparaitre dans le monde complétement inventé de SJM ...)
- j'ai adoré sa relation avec Gwyn et Emerie, c'est l'un des gros points forts du livre : j'ai adoré la façon dont elles apprennent à se connaitre, dont elles se soutiennent et dont elles s'acceptent sans jugement (ce que j'ai clairement reproché aux autres personnages !) Je shippe totalement Gwyn avec Azriel mais pour être honnête, je trouve l'amitié des trois femmes plus important !
- la romance avec Cassian tellement chaud bouillante (cette scène où elle s'imagine avec Azriel et Cassian ... PFIOULALA), pleine de malentendus (tellement de temps pour comprendre pourquoi elle restait en retrait ! Et quand Cassian comprend pourquoi elle a peur du feu ... ><) et mignonne (son cadeau au Solstice <3) même si j'avoue pour moi la relation de Nesta avec ses deux nouvelles amies était plus importante =)
- je veux la House of Wind <3 J'ai ADORE la House of Wind
Bref, pour les fans de la série, un livre à dévorer sans modération qui aborde un nouveau cycle qui promet d'être encore plus palpitant que le précédent !! L'attente pour le prochain livre va être horrible ><
PS : je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je shippe Eris et Elain ... Je me dis que c'est deux personnages qui pourraient tellement gagner à évoluer (même si pour l'instant, j'aurais bien envie de frapper Elain !)

This book ... I devoured this book in one go ><
One word : Nesta ! I had HATE her in the previous books but I knew she had the potential to be so awesome but she exceeded all of my expectations !! I cried, I laughed and I vibrated at each stage of her evolution, of all that she had to endure in order to live and no longer survive ... And I loved every second !!
What I particularly liked :
- NESTA NESTA NESTA ! For me it's really a character that enchanted me ! Unlike the books with Feyre where the plot really concerned Feyre and Rhysand, here even if there is romance, Nesta remains the character who carries the whole book ! She is alternately furious, powerful (this vision in the prison with the villain but also the scene in the creepy swamp <3), cruel, broken (this scene when she walks in the mountains with Cassian ... ><) but above all terribly human (in her fears, her doubts ...) despite her inhumanity ! I hated the other characters for all the things they put her through, on purpose or not, because Nesta had been through so many horrible things and she was so lonely (and maybe that's one of the big differences with Feyre that has lived traumatic events ... But who had Rhys and also the others and especially she was sufficiently balanced at the start to know how to ask for help while Nesta ...) I understood that they did not know what to do to help him and that they often made bad decisions but the beginning of the book killed me anyway ><
- the multiple plots !! Lots of new information (the story with the High King, the past of the universe with the mysteries surrounding the different places, the Mother, the Dread Trove ...), new intrigues (the different factions that will inevitably go at war, new alliances, issues around objects of power etc etc), new enemies (I CAN'T WAIT even if I must admit having been disturbed by the appearance of Koschei who is a villain that I adore ... But who really "exists" in Russian folklore so it was strange to see him appear in the completely invented world of SJM ...)
- I loved her relationship with Gwyn and Emerie, that's one of the big highlights of the book : I loved the way they get to know each other, how they support each other and how they accept each other without judgment (which I clearly criticized the other characters for !) I totally ship Gwyn with Azriel but to be honest I find the friendship of the three women more important !
- the romance with Cassian so STEAMY HOT (that scene where she imagines herself with Azriel and Cassian ... PFIOULALA), full of misunderstandings (so much time to understand why she was standing back ! And when Cassian understands why she is scared of fire ... ><) and cute (her gift at Solstice <3) even if I must admit the relationship of Nesta with her two new friends was more important for me =)
- I want the House of Wind <3 I LOVE the House of Wind
In short, for fans of the series, a book to devour without moderation which tackles a new cycle which promises to be even more exciting than the previous one !! The wait for the next book is going to be horrible ><
PS: I don't know why but I am shipping Eris and Elain ... I tell myself that these are two characters who could benefit so much from evolving (even if for the moment, I would like to hit Elain !)
