I thought that this book was really cute. I really appreciated the story about the trans man and how he struggled with the feeling of upsetting his father. Then at the end of the book we have an interview with the Toda and a gay man which further expanded on Toda's thought process while writing the book and the issues that concern the LGBTQ+ community. It was very informative, and I liked reading more on it.
I also liked that the author shared the fact that many of her stories came from random ideas, chance encounters, and lived experiences. It was nice to see how those small stories turned into full-fledged stories.
