It's sad when a book full of characters you've grown to love finally comes to an end.
One of those stories where each and every character's voice is unique and as real as they come; so much so that it's hard to believe they are fictional - where the dialogue flies off the page as if it were all unfolding on screen and you forget that you're reading.
Funny, original, genuine and a literary treat.
The author is at the top of my radar now.
Spoonbenders is the perfect example of a good book with great characters that I won't be forgetting any time soon.
