Midnight Valentine by J.T. Geissinger

3.0

Most of this will contain spoilers as my main issues with this book were with the last quarter of the book.

I enjoyed it to a certain point then I feel it took a turn into fantasy and away from reality

I'd rather the simil rities between Cass and Theo have been explained by perhaps Cass having met Theo and spoke about / seen a picture of Megan and the plans for the b&b and these memories become confused with Theo's own after his accident. But in the end I just felt Megan didn't know Theo at all and only saw/loved the parts that were Cass. I'm really not a fan of the reincarnation plot and was disappointed having been excited that it would lead up to a more satisfying conclusion.

Didn't enjoy the quote about atheists not being trust worthy, and Suzannes character was a very one dimensional

Right near the end Theo's ex becomes pregnant by Craig which seemed completely unnecessary and just gave her story a really sad end when she was obviously still besotted with Theo.

Megan becoming pregnant also unexplained so I must assume this is also down to a  religious miracle 🙄

Disappointed but rating a 3 as I did enjoy part of the journey.
