emily henry is quickly cementing herself as one of my favourite romance authors!! she is just so good at writing these funny relatable and slightly damaged characters with so much chemistry.
i love the villain twist on the "has a life changing experience in a small town" trope, and the continuous running theme of nora and charlie trading tropes back and forth throughout is SO cute. this book knows how to use these tropes and poke fun at them while still putting a fresh spin on them.
the most important part is how HOT AND FUNNY this book is??? like genuinely laugh out loud funny, the way this book had me just giggling to myself. they are so cute. i cannot stress this enough, the banter is so fucking good, emily henry is so fantastic at bottle romances.
i struggle so hard to talk about books i love and this is no exception. i just love it. i hope that we will continue to get more books in this universe (i did catch the Beach Read references!!) thank you emily henry <3
