This was my first David Sedaris book. While it was funny in parts, and I enjoyed the author's performance on the audiobook version, the book is also quite...un-funny in parts. I was expecting a Sedaris book to have a bit more of the laugh out loud factor. If I could give it 2 and a half stars, I probably would. What pushed it from 2 to 3 is that it was effective entertainment as I drive during the day at work (and did not require a lot of deep thought). I may pick up another book by the author from the library's audiobook selection for the same purpose.
