In the books released as of December 2024, this book arguably has the most plot development for the entirety of Prythian. Page-turning battle scenes, though could have done without

the sex in tents on the battlefield with the sounds of injured and dying soldiers audible

. Curious to see where the books go from here and

who/what the next antagonist will be

. As a credit to how entertaining the book was, I did read the physical book and listen to the audiobook within the same year.
