Wow, the master has done it again!
I'm not sure how this author can consistently create characters that you feel you know personally within a few chapters. Characters so real that by the end of the book, you want to stop reading so you don't have to say goodbye; but, the storyline is so compelling that you cannot stop reading just to see how it all ends!
This story has the creepy factor that Koontz is known for with the strong good -vs-evil plot. If I had a complaint, which I hesitate to even voice, it would be that the ending was a bit too neat. Although, I loved the ending, I wish there had been a couple more chapters to it. I cannot say more without giving anything away.
This is a great book.
