A Dance with Dragons by George R.R. Martin

Did not finish book.

Got annoyed at the idea of killing off Jon Snow. Was prepared to come back and re-read / finish once the next book came out, assuming he was "resurrected".  However, given that the series is likely to never be finished, I've never bothered to re-read / finish this one.  

It's been 13 years since I read any Martin (at the time of this writing), and I'm unsure I'll bother reading *anything* else unless / until the entire series is complete.  

I'm just frankly bored with the wait at this point, having started this series WAY BACK in 1999.
