it's just not for me. although naomi is a badass and i like her, i hoped to see some action and dialogue from L. i felt misled and i expected too much, but it wasn't met. this story as a whole did not make any sense to me in connection with the dn story. you'd think that naomi, whose identity has been emphasized very heavily in the book, and basically the one to figure everything out, and by extension saving l's life, that she would leave a mark on l's character. but in the anime, when it was known that naomi died, l had to think because he forgot about her for a bit, and after remembering he just didn't give a fuck lmao. coming back to what i said, it just doesn't make sense to me that l and naomi's connected on a deeper level because if they did then why did l just flat out not care at all? and i hate L's portrayal at the end, actually, i hate the ending at all. throughout the story i have understood that naomi can make correct deductions using minute little clues, and if my assumptions are correct, the ending expected the reader to think that naomi was oblivious to what was happening, and again, i didnt like how L was written like that, it's very uncanny.
