Fade by Lisa McMann

The second book in the trilogy, Janie is learning how to hone her ability further. Now she is a full-time partner with her boyfriend Cabel as they work undercover at their high school. When Captain brings them in to tell them that she thinks that there is a sexual predator on campus, Janie is eager to help but Cabel is cautious of the danger that this case will bring to her. While this text is no less "cotton candy" than the first book in the series, I still found it enjoyable, mainly due to my like of the characters and due to the fact that there haven't been too many books with this issue that I've run across lately. Plot-wise, there weren't too many surprises, but it was interesting nonetheless. I'm intrigued to see what McMann does with the final installment.
