As I was perusing the shelves at Barnes & Nobles, I stumbled upon the book recommendations section from B&N employees. My eye caught the earnestness and appreciation for this book and I could not help but pick it up. I'm so glad I did!
It was fun to look through and read letters/ reviews for books I wholeheartedly agreed with. It felt like I was getting to know a new friend who clearly has great taste! I loved that she greatly enjoyed The Time Traveller's wife, and shared my disappointment for The Hobbit. I soon found myself trying to find which books that she loved so that I could read them too since clearly, she knew what she was talking about.
My favorite part of this book was definitely the second half with all her book recommendations, especially the menage de livre (2 books at a time approach). I can't wait to try some of them out!
