I have to admit, I was nervous about this one. I don’t read romance or smut really, and I just genuinely didn’t know how I would get into this one. I’m so glad that my friends and I picked this for our monthly buddy read, because I was so impressed. This dark comedy was clever, and while it was a love story, it had serial killer vibes that helped me (and avid thriller/mystery reader) stay hooked. There are elements to this that are like …no way would that fly in real life, but that’s the great thing about fiction. It doesn’t have to. I loved everything about this book and I cannot wait for the next one!
