I’m really surprised how much I enjoyed this book! 
It’s not the typical genre I read, but as it was a black author and the title caught my interest, I had to give it a try. 

I found Rayna a bit annoying at times and unreasonably difficult, but nothing Metice couldn’t handle. He is a demon after all. 

Not a conventional story of falling in love and marrying a demon, but that’s why it’s a must read. 

There could have been some more in depth information as to Raynas ancestry and some more explanations around her previous breakdown and how it related to her actual life, but that’s just a small niggle. 

Overall it was a fun, interesting, steamy and often funny read that left me with a smile on my face at the end of it.
