Honestly this isn't my typical genre. I had added it awhile back through recommendation. The characters were well written, and I absolutely loved Evelyn Hugo. I was counting down each husband and wondering when she would end up with the love of life.
It captured the different types of loves that Evelyn Hugo went through along with varying characters. And did a pretty good job representing the spectrum of LGBTQ and how that was handled during the time.
Once again I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. I even took a few quotes that resonated or were very powerful. I was distraught and saddened finishing up this book and as much as Evelyn Hugo lived there was so much pain and sadness and there were certain points that just broke me!
