A great sequel! This book opens up a month or so after the end of the first book. At first, it seems like things will slowly go back to normal after the war. But alas, not everything is always how it seems. It doesn’t take long before trouble comes along. Throughout this book, there are trails and tests that our MCs must face. Without giving too much away, our MCs come out on the other side stronger. This book made me fall in love with them all over again. And because this is book 2 of a trilogy, it ends on a big cliffhanger. I need book 3 now because I need to know what happens!
