I loved that this book basically continues on from Crooked Kingdom. Nikolai, Zoya and Nina are the 3 main characters we follow. Nina travels to bury her lovers body. Nikolai and Zoya start a charade to find a bride and end up battling Nikolai’s demons. So many twisty plots and it would not be a Leigh Bardugo book without a few deaths, so you know no one is safe. I loved this peek back into the world.
