It's one of the few books in a while that I have read with such intensity. I read half of the book in one might and the other half the second night. It's fast paced and keeps you wondering. Even core aspects about the protagonist aren't revieled like his real name. It's definitely a heavy book with certain writing decisions I don't particularly agree with. However, it also has grabbed my attention like few others have.
Graphic: Child abuse, Cursing, Death, Drug abuse, Drug use, Emotional abuse, Homophobia, Physical abuse, Sexual assault, Torture, Toxic relationship, Violence, Death of parent, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
This is an intense book. Beware the content tags. A couple more are overdose, parental abuse (physical and emotional), drugging, multiple uses of the r*etard and f*ggot, unconsensualkissing while under the influence, homelessness of a child is discussed.
