i don't feel comfortable giving this book a rating if i'm being honest. overall, this book truly was something, that being said, i don't regret having read it. it was a literary piece that isn't just for anybody, especially considering the avid descriptions of pedophilia, rape and child abuse. this novel should be read for what it represents, a crime. it is not a love story, nor should it be viewed as one. overall, this read was a tough but overall worthy one.
