A wonderful, enchanting story of love and family with a few dark twists. Loved the aspects of magical realism, growth of the characters, and Rey’s frequent moments of humor. Despite a little bit of a lull after the halfway point for me, I still felt Zoraida Córdova’s writing style was great. I hope she writes more adult fiction!
