This book was fantastic! I had never heard about the Steamship Pulaski sinking before I heard the author talk about this book in an interview. She did a wonderful job bringing history to life while also telling the story of a present-day woman who is trying to live after her own tragedy. I spent time researching after I finished the book, which shows that it really captured me. The author's note at the end is very good as well.
