A glorious work of fiction, in and of itself. So accurate in its analysis of the political melodrama in Zimbabwe that if you change some of the specifics, she could have been writing about my own country. At first, I wasn’t sure this was going to work for me, then I switched to the audiobook and I couldn’t get enough of it. NoViolet deserves all the flowers for this book and the narrator deserves all the praise for her performance.
