We were liars features a poetic style of writing that continually got on my nerves; I didn't really like the prose. I felt this was a story without much of a plot and I found it odd they mention the pool little white girl with rich people problems yet never resolved this concern. The parallel stories about the princesses were an interesting change of pace which I enjoyed.
