A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold by George R.R. Martin

5.0

Didn’t finish this quite as fast but a lot of nice story lines started wrapping up towards the end of the book. Sansa escaped kings landing, Joffrey is dead, Aria is finally heading to Braavos and Tyrion killed his father. Things are starting to take shape. Although I see a lot of extra information in the series I have to be impressed by how much of the books the series adapted. Small details here and there have been left out, but I am not disappointed even though I watched the show first. Although I know the next one will also take me some time to finish I will start it right away, because let’s face it, the story is just that good.
