Rainbow's Orange Book of Poetry by Lily Lawson

5.0

Poetry is a very subjective thing. For some, it has to rhyme. For others, it must be airy and intellectual. Personally, I love poetry that is human and heartfelt.

Lily Lawson’s latest poetry collection, Orange, is completely my cup of tea. It speaks of the concerns, dreams, and situations that many of us face in our lives. My favourite poem in Orange has to be ‘I See You In Your Absorption’. It makes me feel understood as a fellow writer.

All in all, this is a brilliant poetry collection – even better than its predecessor, Red – and I look forward to reading the rest of the rainbow.

More please, Lily.
