A Journey to the New World: The Diary of Remember Patience Whipple, Mayflower, 1620 by Kathryn Lasky

2.0

This is one of my least favorite of the series. I appreciate that the author doesn't have a ton to work with, but this book honestly drags. The historical accuracy is somewhat lacking compared to later books in the series. I think A Journey to the New World can be a great springboard for sparking interest in Plymouth Colony and colonial America, but I would not want it to be the only book someone reads about the era!
