I went into this book feeling like I was reading 'Twilight' again. I tried to shake the feeling, but it kept coming back to me. Ancient Indian prince who can turn into a tiger? Not at ALL like an ancient sparkling 'vegetarian' vampire, right? Or a... werewolf.
As I desperately tried to continue this series, the similarities glared me right in the face, almost daring me to point them out to myself. It all came to a crashing halt when I listened to a couple interviews with the author when she admitted that she started Tiger's Curse after finishing Eclipse, and was... inspired by the Twilight series. (That sentence makes me want to scrub myself down with a wire brush, I feel so dirty.)
That's it, I'm done. C'mon, kids- we're leaving. Good luck paying your bills, Tiger's Curse. I'm breaking up with you.
