as someone familiar with addicts, I felt the familiar frustration with erin of watching someone be overtaken by their addiction and wanting more than anything for them to snap out of it but they have to come to that decision on their own. the author did a good job at showing how quicky an addiction can manipulate ones mind & body until they're no longer their own. it was a bit too drawn out for me &
I rarely enjoy an ending that makes the story/fight the MC went through to be almost pointless.
