Ava is a Chinese-American stay at home mom, she used to be a lawyer. My thoughts about the book
What an original story! You think you know where it’s heading and halfway through the story suddenly changes, which makes it intriguing to read. It’s good that the book talks about the poor work conditions of the Chinese employees in the factories, something we have to be well aware of when buying cheap clothing…
