Read through some of Dickinson's work for a poetry analysis class. This book would take a lifetime to read and analyze properly, of course, but I enjoyed the pieces we focused on. Poem 712 - the notorious "Because I could not stop for Death - He kindly stopped for me -" - becomes so much more meaningful after taking the time to break it down piece by piece. Dickinson is transparent in her struggling relationship with God and eloquent in her use of the natural world to provide powerful insights. There's a poem for everyone in here.
