Wonder Woman: Warbringer
by Leigh Bardugo
This story of Diana Prince was probably the most fascinating origin story I've ever heard of this character. While powerful, she is not known as the mightest and while beautiful by modern standards, she is viewed with content throughout her whole life.
Rather than limit her to old war stories that the movies and animation portray, we have modern day fish out of water tale, with more diversity, creative characters and higher stakes as Diana must prove herself and save her friends, family, and the world. I adored this story and the ramping up was awesome. Highly recommend for superhero fans and fans of the character.
