I think this is the kind of book that would actually work better as a film, at least for me. It was a fun time but a lot of the action in the second half struggled to hold my attention and I think would've worked better seeing it visually than reading it. I can't tell if its just my attention span at the moment but I ended up basically rushing through the last 50 pages or so and just wanting it to be done. 

It was enjoyable, there was some great representation of mutism and sign which was super appreciated, but it just failed to make a lasting impression on me, or fully hold my attention.
