Every Heart a Doorway gives me the same atmospheric horror vibes I got from 'Bird Box' and I can't put my finger on why. This book is creepy and endearing at the same time. On one hand you feel bad for the mc but on the other, it's what they want so who cares?

I love the characters, I love the concept, I love the prose and execution of the plot. This was a book I felt like I could escape into like it was *my* door.

I should have started this series in order, and I should have started it way sooner. Phenomenal!
