REVIEW FOR FUTURE ME WHEN I FORGET THAT I EVEN READ THIS BOOK:
You avoided reviewing this immediately while you read other reviews hoping someone would tell you how you felt about it. You’re still not sure. It was very Emily Henry in the banter. It was very New Girl fanfic in that he was the gentlest parts of Nick Miller (there was even a direct Nick and Jess in the pool scene where Nick swung her around like Tran did to him) and she was the everything of Jessica Day. It was also unfortunately a bit underwhelming. It was her first book where all the characters were unrelatable and something about it just didn’t quite hit
