The Infinity Courts
by Akemi Dawn Bowman
"This one is for the readers" - somehow, for whatever reason, if there's a dedication to the readership in general you're usually in for a "fun" ride.
Bowman's first real foray into the seemingly contractually-obligated-for-all-YA-writers epic fantasy(ish) inevitable trilogy saga starts with a short beginning that's borderline non-sequitor muddled by a narrator/MC who can't seem but to brrak the fourth wall entirely by accident with the remaining 445 pages (yes) being a nonstop cliche train.
