as i’ve already stated in my review of book one i hate sci-fi but MAN did i love this.

book #2 was definitely a lot more of what i would call sci-fi than book #1 (and maybe apocalyptic? it definitely felt like it!), and i think i had a bit trouble getting used to that in the beginning and not just thinking “wow, that’s kinda ridiculous”, but by the end it had me fully in its grips and at the edge of my seat.

i don’t think i have much to say about the actual things that happened in this book except, and this is where the spoiler warning comes into play, why did they have to kill off mr. bold text… my babygirl. it’s very typical of me to get obsessed with the character that’s like, the least personable. anyway, i was devastated when he died.

also when they found out the truth about the human-alien heritage and the true intentions of the aliens, and what mr. burns position really is… goosebumps!

and that end… oh i cannot even begin to describe how hyped i am to find out what they’re doing now that they are (probably?) in space and ACTUALLY going to meet the aliens (i am assuming), going to start reading book #3 right away, see ya.
